Say, will in /etc/fstab putting /dev/cdrom /cdrom iso9660 defaults,ro,user,noauto,iocharset=cp950 0 0 cause problems one day for the 99.9% of the time when the cdrom I'm reading doesn't have Chinese filenames on it?
To read Chinese chars on vfat and iso9660 drives, should I in /etc/fstab use both iocharset=cp950,codepage=950 or just iocharset=cp950 is enough? I often see just the former. I see noauto in fstab but I didn't have to do mount(8) before running aptitude, dselect, etc. Odd. -- http://jidanni.org/ Taiwan(04)25854780 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
