3D - Acceleration for Nvidia TNT 2 graphic card

i'm using SUSE Linux 8.0 but i will install Debian 3.0 final . Nvidia 
offers RPM - Files for my graphic - card TNT 2 to activate the 3D 
acceleration. I've heard that the RPM system is not compatibel with GNU 
/ Debian. What can i do?  Thanks Christian .
