I believe that's what the effect is called. I played with all sorts of adjustments without getting the feeling that anything should matter. I left everything at its default setting. However, I have the feeling that it's a little bit less than it used to be. Could be wrong though. Perhaps I set off a calibration of sorts. At least I can have a browser and a couple of terminals open in the foreground now and read all windows comfortably. Thanks for replying. Bob
