Do You have enough Memory (RAM, Swap)?

I'd strongly consider faulty RAM.

(I have that with an old P200 of mine. Its about exactly every 21 Days
when apt-get starts segfaulting. After a reboot everything is working fine
again - faulty RAM, obviously.)
