Did you load gpm, or at least configured X to use gpm as the mouse driver? If you plan to use gpm, edit the XF86Config (or XF86Config-4) file to use gpm as the mouse driver. > o zgv , text-console - based picture viewer , shows either a blank > screen for JPG or a white screen for GIF ! what video card are you using? and what version of X?
