Two questions:
1) Yesterday I tried to install Debian 2.2r6 on a box with a UDMA66 drive as the only hard drive. I used the UDMA66 flavour of boot and root floppy disks. The install got past the initial setup, but after reboot (before setting up packages), Linux starting booting (got past Lilo) but got stuck shortly after: "Kernel panic: couldn't mount root fs". I appreciate mentioning my chipset, motherboard type etc. might help (I can look at these later) but for now, a cursory question: is there some sort of debian/UDMA66 faq out there? I've googled for such a thing with no success. 2) Can anyone remind me in which file I put "ifup eth0" to ensure my network card interface comes up automatically at boot?
