Yes, logcheck is known for doing stuff like that.  If you get mail from
somebody with 'attack' in their address you're likely to get the same
warning.

It's pretty weird, but in this case it's probably a better idea to err
on the cautious side than to risk letting something legitimately
noteworthy go unnoticed.
