You talk about the bios, and I think you have to search it there. Look in the bios and check if you can find something like pnp/pci configuration. Go to that sub-menu and check if the resources are controlled automatically

Dann habe ich das PCMCIA-cs Package installiert (Woody mit 2.2.18er Kernel �brigens...) Beim hochfahren bekomme ich vom cardmgr die oben genannte Meldung und meiner PCMCIA Karte wird beim Einstecken kein IRQ zugeordnet. Dies hat zur Folge, da� mir das Treibermodul meldet: "... is not assigned an irq. The card won't be activated!" Also ist mein hauptproblem, da� debian meiner netzwerkkarte keinen interrupt zuordnet. Ich habe nicht allzu viel Ahnung in sachen Linux und hardware. Ich bef�rchte es k�nnte am BIOS im Notebook liegen. Ich kann da zwar vieles per Software einstellen, wei� aber nciht was ich wie setzen muss...
