Hi, I apt-get-upgraded my Woody yesterday and have massive problems with Eterm since I booted today. - It takes about ten seconds to start an Eterm, five seconds to close it, five seconds to to popup a menu. (P800 w/ 500MB RAM) - My themes in /usr/share/Eterm/themes are ignored. - All shells are login shells - While sshing to other machines, I get display errors and errors are reported by applications: - - - Schnipp - - - [EMAIL PROTECTED]> man ls WARNING: terminal is not fully functional - - - Schnapp - - - I have no problems in terminals running on remote machines. - The root of all evil may be the version. I have 0.9.1 themes and my new Eterm is 0.9.2. Problem is, I can't find any 0.9.2 themes on my machine, and simply changing the lead-in doesn't change anything.
I downloaded two versions from http://packages.debian.org and tried to install them with dpkg -i eterm_0.9.2-0pre2002042101_i386.deb dpkg -i eterm_0.9.2-0pre2002041104_i386.deb rebooting after each try, but nothing changed. I'm sure lacking some knowledge to fix this by myself, so I would especially appreciate any pointers to documentation. Does anyone else have these problems with Eterm?
