Please extend my condolences. The rest of the west (even in Canada) looks down it's nose at California, and Californians do the same to Sacramento. Basically, it's a runt city in a runt state and gets treated as such. Also, ATTBI hasn't existed in almost two months now, Comcast ate them. > What is available in Sacramento? When I was working for [EMAIL PROTECTED], Sacramento was served by @Home by way of TCI. AT&T then bought out TCI. Cox, Comcast and AT&T colluded against us and we went under shortly after it became apparent that they were colluding against us and AT&TBI took over that market buying the network for fractions of a cent on the dollar in bankruptcy court. AT&T then decided they suck at cable coax services and sold everything but cable telephone service to Comcast. I can gaurantee you that all the headends there are two-way equipped, and it's almost gauranteed to be Comcast serving the area. Since it's two-way equipped, the services available will be all analog and digital cable television services and broadband internet by Comcast, and possibly cable telephone service by either AT&T or Comcast over the same Comcast line. I encourage your son to get his phone service this way if possible, Pacific Bell *really* sucks more than most phone companies and getting it over the cable is cheaper and fairly reliable. - -- .''`.
