Well, what it meant was to change your sources.list to point to testing instead of stable and run 'apt-get dist-upgrade'. I'm not sure if the following is currently necessary, but a few months ago you needed to install the new versions of apt and dpkg before running the upgrade: 1. Edit /etc/apt/sources.list to use testing instead of stable packages. 2. Run 'apt-get update'. 3. Run 'apt-get install apt dpkg' 4. Run 'apt-get dist-upgrade'.
