Probably best in ~/.Xdefaults eg Emacs.default.attributeFont:-b&h-lucidatypewriter-medium-r-normal-*-*-120-*-*-m-*-iso8859-1 Emacs*menubar*font: -microsoft-verdana-bold-r-normal-*-*-90-*-*-p-*-viscii1.1-1 !
