http://www.modssl.org/docs/2.1/ssl_faq.html besides, if you run a commercial server in the states you have to buy license from RSA there is also an option to build apache/mod-ssl without rsa algorythms but it will cause some problems also, it will be probably cheaper to buy red hat server and transfer the license than buy the license directly from RSA.
