i just started working with ~/.menu and ~/.menu-methods. let alone apt, debconf, /etc/alternatives, and all the other goodies that other distros don't have because *you* rock, debian's menu system is kickin'!!! mad props to y'all, whether involved or not, for the best distro in the world!
and while we're at it... windowmaker has a new menu structure, but the menu-methods for wmaker still generate the old format. it *does* have the added advantage that detaching one's windowmaker menues from debian's menu system is not all that easy (in fact, an error is generated because ~/GNUstep/Defaults/WMRootMenu" does not list an absolute path name (which is necessary)), but is there work in progress on migrating the wmaker menu-method to the new windowmaker menu structure? i might just have a go... -- martin; (greetings from the heart of the sun.) \____ echo mailto: !#^."<*>"|tr "<*> mailto:" [EMAIL PROTECTED] the file you need might be very useful. but now it is gone.
