I am having problems getting "wmsetbg" to work from a terminal.
I tried typing export DISPLAY=localhost:0
export DISPLAY=localhost:0.0
and then
wmsetbg -display localhost:0.0 -e pic.gif -w 2 from a terminal (tty1)
but I get "could not open display.
I also tried
xhost +localhost from a xterminal in X.
To no avail.
What can I try or how do I determine what my display is?
