Yes, a zero-length file gets created in /var/loc called foo. Thanks. I think it has been established, from an email I got from bart Oldeman on the dosemu list, that this is a bug in the stable version of dosemu. I am currently trying to install version 1.1.3 because i understand the problem may be fixed there. Thanks.
