UNSUBSCRIBE Sorry to all those who are inconvenienced by this but I have tried multiple times to get removed from the mailing list.
I even sent in the confirm "CONFIRM u03180819391769" PLEASE REMOVE ME MANUALLY, as your automated system doesn't work. I will unfortunately have to resort to "spamming" the Debian-user mailing list until I am off the list, as all the e-mails I am STILL receiving are now spam to me. -----Original Message----- From: Shri Shrikumar [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, March 22, 2002 2:34 PM To: Cheryl Homiak Cc: debian-user@lists.debian.org Subject: Re: dosemu: com ports: /var/lock On Fri, 2002-03-22 at 17:36, Cheryl Homiak wrote: > Ok, I restored everything as before as far as the partition permission and > /etc/fstab and rebooted to be sure, then used "chmod a+rw /var/lock". Have you tried running it as root - does it work? If it doesn't, you might still have something else left to tweak.
