I'd like to make a shameless plug for IMP. There are debs for it, but they lag slightly behind the releases, so it's easiest to just download a release candidate an install: http://www.horde.org/ I've never used any of the other web-email programs, so I can't comment on relative performance. But IMP has been developed for several years and is currently under active development. Additionally, if it's good enough for MIT to adopt site-wide http://web.mit.edu/is/discovery/webmail/ then that has to say something. Disclaimer: my friend is a developer on the project, so I have a slight bias... <g> Jason
