Hi,
maybe your mail goes to /var/spool/mail/name . Often, /var/spool/mail ist a
symlink to /var/mail (check that on your system).
Or check the setting in /etc/exim/exim.conf . As you see, mine points to
/var/spool/mail/joachim .
