I have a laptop running Woody. When at home I have eth0 set to 192.168.0.3 and I have another Win2000 laptop used for work with an IP address of 192.168.0.100. Using X-win32 I can open gnome sessions using XDMCP while running gdm. I can also open sessions with another machine at home. When at work, the same Win2000 laptop has an IP address of 10.1.2.131 and the Woody laptop has an IP address of 10.1.1.252. When trying to connect to open an X session I get the 'XDM: too many retransmissions' message. Any ideas why this doesn't seem to work when using the 10. addresses? Telnet, FTP are fine with the 10. addresses.
