I have a file /etc/menu-methods/xfce and here are a couple of its lines: genmenu= "debian.menu" rootprefix="/etc/X11/xfce/" userprefix="/.xfce/" treewalk="c(m)" mainmenutitle="Debian Menu" you might want to check if that's intact. CraigW
