Hi!

Because my old notebook went bust last Friday, I bought a new one. A HP
OmniBook XT1000.

Basic installation worked quite ok, but I don't get APM working. It's
compiled in the kernel as I used to do it on the old notebook. But when
invoking apm, I get:

    No APM support in kernel

Hm. And during booting I get the following message:

    apm: BIOS not found.

Is there any way around this?

TIA.

Greetings,

Stefan.
