You do use gpm, don't you? X can't read from /dev/psaux as gpm already reads from it. reconfigure gpm (in /etc/gmp.conf) to use: repeat=raw type=ps2 and reconfigure X (in /etc/X11/XF86Config) to use Protocol "PS/2" Device "/dev/gpmdata" in section 'Pointer'. -- groetjes, carel
