Running unstable, I'm getting my brand new optical PS/2 mouse freezing at
random times. This just affects the mouse, I can alt-tab to a xterm and run
commands fine, I can even restart X to get the mouse working again, but it is
still a pain. It freezes perhaps every thirty minutes on average and freezes
more often when I'm using it than when I'm just typing away without touching
the mouse. I also sometimes get the mouse deciding the focus point is around
20 pixels left of where the pointer image is, and this often isn't fixed by
restarting the X server.

Mouse type: 4 button + scroll wheel optical PS/2 mouse
Mouse protocol: Microsoft
Video card: Trident based on the blade
XFree: 4.1

Is there any obvious solution (like I picked the wrong mouse driver?) or does
amybody know what the command/ioctl to reset the PS/2 bus is so that I don't
have to restart X?

TIA,

Corrin
