Perhaps I need to rephrase my question. There is a printer I want to be able to print to and then able to offer it to the LAN through LMHOSTS. I can print to it. But I cannot share it correctly unless I can see what name its broadcasting. Past experience with phoning up and asking the users has been discouragingly imprecise.
