Can anybody tell me which file causes this to come on my screen: "You have mail in /var/spool/mail/chomiak" If I could find that file I might be able to modify it to get a beep when mail comes in instead of just the words on the screen. /etc/bash_profile was suggested to me; I don't have that. I checked /etc/profile and .bash_profile in my home directory. Thanks.
