Hi all, Some time ago, my system became unable to install new package because console common was bombing out looking for t aFrench amiga keyboard. Editting the postinstall file fixed it.
Now the exact same error is back...but with kdb Setting up kbd (1.06-2) ... Looking for keymap to install: amiga / Unknown / French / Standard / Standard Usage: install-keymap [ keymap_file | NONE | KERNEL ] dpkg: error processing kbd (--configure): subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1 Errors were encountered while processing: kbd E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) I ought to take this opportunity to say this is not an Amiga not Unknown nor even French. anyone know what causes this to keep reappearing? It comes when I used dselect...just now it was while installing cupsys-client that it came in with the usual woody updates... . -- Best regards, Patrick Kirk Telephone: 0870 011 8494 GSM: 07876 560 646 Web site: www.kirks.net
