Yep. In most projects there's a point where it's easier to
re-write the whole thing from scratch (recycling pieces of
the old code, perhaps) than to improve on existing code. 
If I had time and desire to fsck around with desktop 
environments, I'd sit down and write the DETDNS[0]. 
In the meantime I'll stick with KDE, 
thankyouverymuch.
