Sorry, it's not the solution of problem, but just another one (with the same subject). ALSA CS4232 driver worked fine with X 3.3.6, but it leaves X 4.1.0's cursor frozen. I can't use the mouse at all, terrible. (Well... I can use it if I insert the snd-card-cs4232 module after starting X. A bug, isn't it?) Does anybody have a sound card with the same chip?
