Well -- I'm still on the list... the saga continues - for the record, I've unsubscribed about 13 times today.
I went and searched /. for the article that someone (forget who) mentioned about slackware fading away (just to calm my own nerves a little bit) -- What was out there is a reference to an article about some guy who is no longer actively developing a package manager for slackware... He had issues w/ slack's package manager (i find that a lot of apt fans do - but we're not here for that...) and so he was replacing it -- Slackware is not dying -- one guy who wasn't a slackfan and thought he could improve it gave up... because you can't improve perfection.
