When I go to enable IPv6 I don't get access to the
option. In xconfig I can see the options but they are
greyed out. In "make config" it simply doesn't come
up. I'm using the 2.4.16 deb package. There doesn't
seem to be any info in the source itself about
something being needed to turn it on. I know the
source works because I've compiled kernels with it on
three machines. It's just the IPv6 option that seems
to be turned off somehow.
Just clutching at straws, I'm using "classic 586"
and "586 MMX" processor types -- but this shouldn't
matter, should it?
