    Strange. I read an article in the Linux Journal that stated that many
people were upset in the 2.0 to 2.2 transition because they had to drop their
tried and tested ipfwadm scripts, so for 2.2 to 2.4, they promised that 2.4
would be backwards compatible with ipchains scripts, not making use of any of
the new features, but working.
