ACTIONS
dpkg -i | --install package_file...
Install the package. If --recursive or -R option is
specified, package_file must refer to a directory
instead.
shouldn't this be either
dpgk -i package_file.deb
OR
dpgk --install package_file.deb
? as i'm understanding it (which may not be too well), the command dpkg -i is
piped to --install package_file, to which bash rightly responds:
bash: --install: command not found
(i have successfully installed my package, i'm just wondering about this
seeming discrepancy.)
