I am using a Linksys router with DHCP. I can obtain an IP and everything works fine but when I examine the Client's table in the Linksys router the Linux computer has no name "Linux Box" to identify it.
I went into the dhclient.conf file and uncommented send hostname "Linux Box" but this had no effect. Did I issue the right command? Are there any other commands I need to issue? Lance
