Hi there, I need help... Trying to get my printer to work... I have an Epson Action Laser, it's HP4 compatible....
I don't thing the lp0 is even working... I recompiled the kernel with support for all the parallel stuf (as modules) and loaded parport_pc... But if I run printtool it says that there are no parallel ports available... If I check dmsg I can se: parport0: PC-style at 0x378 [PCSPP,TRISTATE] parport0: cpp_daisy: aa5500ff(98) parport0: assign_addrs: aa5500ff(98) parport0: cpp_daisy: aa5500ff(98) parport0: assign_addrs: aa5500ff(98) I don't know what that means, but I think it means it detected a parport... What do I need to do??? Thanks!!!
