Hi I have a debian machine which keeps dropping its ethernet connection around every 2.3 minutes.
This is the second machine that I have doing this to me now, and I cannot work out whats wrong. I have done the obvious and changed NIC's but the problem still exists. I have written a small bash script which checks the internet connection every minute and will restart networking in the event of the connection going down. This solves the problem until the next time. Im running debian 2.2r3 Any thoughts would be appreciated.. Regards Ian Millsom
