You don't want to emulate a third button, you already have 3 buttons. You can also set the zaxis mapping to use the scroll options of your mouse.
removing that line or changing it to false doesn't seem to make any difference to it starting up. Right now I'd just like to see it starting up even if I still need to fine tune it a bit afterwards.
