Hi! I am trying to set up postfix+amavis+f-prot on a Debian woody system. I have followed the instructions in README.postfix, but I still cannot make the above combination work. I have used the third setup option from the README.postfix: Method B: Using the content filtering interface of newer postfix snapshots
What I get is: - postfix starts without errors - postfix receives a mail and passes it to amavis - amavis hangs... - postfix does not receive anything back :( I don't understand why this happenes. This is what I did: I configured amavis with: ./configure --enable-smtp --enable-postfix; make; make install Tnan I configured postfix: main.cf part: content_filter = vscan: ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ added to the main.cf than master.cf part: vscan unix - n n - 10 pipe user=vscan argv=/usr/sbin/amavis ${sender} ${recipient} localhost:10025 inet n - n - - smtpd -o content_filter= This should be all, allthough I suspect that content_filter should not be an empty string, but I don't know what to put there... Is anyone using a similar combination, or can anyone help me with this please? Thank you in advance!
