XFree86 4.1 is available in the Woody (testing) and Sid (unstable) branches. Woody will be the next "stable" release when it's ready. Unfortunately it's the best interface we have. There are others (aptitude, deity), but I don't think very many people use them. I don't think deity is even still being developed. Craig
