Yall, I am starting to think that the search functionality does not work, so hot.
What should I have searched on? This is also a very good reason to have a mailing list FAQ and/or a new user mailing list with [debian-new]. We do want to encourage people to use/contribute to debian. ;-) I would suggest adding to the "Code of conduct" "Never send your messages in HTML; post on Debian topics in plain text wrapped within 80 columns. Avoid attachments." . When I first did send a message to debian-user about 6 months ago, I never had any response. Months later, I discovered it was likely b/c I did not wrap @ 80.
