Hi there,

i think so much people know what is the 'mrtg' package. Well i am having a little problem (realliy its not one) which blame me a bit.

As you all know the session component of pam_unix.so have not any argument. This session component of this module of pam check the open and close conection.

Well, the question:

---------------------------- THE QUESTION ----------------------------
I use mrtg which is called from cron each 5 minutes.
The problem (to me, i know it's ok and it's good ... ) is that i cannot (i dont know how) set the logging facility in the session component to OFF , so i get the auth.log fully with the messages:

Oct 20 17:43:01 prvsystem01 PAM_unix[1505]: (cron) session opened for user root by (uid=0)
Oct 20 17:43:04 prvsystem01 PAM_unix[1505]: (cron) session closed for user root

I would like dont switch off the pam on cron (just removing the cron from the /etc/pam.d, so are there any who can tell me a argument for the PAM_unix module which switch off the log facilites on the components?

---------------------------- END ----------------------------

Seeya and thanks by advance.

Note: i have looked on http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/libs/pam/Linux-PAM-html/pam-6.html which is the part of 'The Linux-PAM System Administration Guide' which explain all modules and componets.
