One of my Debuan boxes crashed last night. As I watched it crawl trhough fsck'g a 40G partition, it dwaned on me that there was a better way to do this.
So, I wnat to convert my root partiton to Reiserfs. I have 2 partions on that disk / and /boot. I have 2 other disks which are already Reiserfs. So my plan is to boot from a rescue disk tar up the now mounetd root partion to one of the other disk, do a mkfs on the root partiton, and untar. But, to do this I need for the kernel on the rescue disk to understand Reiserfs. Where can I get such a rescue disk? -- Stan Brown [EMAIL PROTECTED] 843-745-3154 Charleston SC. -- Windows 98: n. useless extension to a minor patch release for 32-bit extensions and a graphical shell for a 16-bit patch to an 8-bit operating system originally coded for a 4-bit microprocessor, written by a 2-bit company that can't stand for 1 bit of competition. - (c) 2000 Stan Brown.
