New to Linux so bare with me, there is probably an easy answer.....
I'm having problems installing the php4-mysql package.
I get the following messages.....
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Package php4-mysql has no available version, but exists in the database.
This typically means that the package was mentioned in a dependency and
never uploaded, has been obsoleted or is not available with the contents
of sources.list
E: Package php4-mysql has no installation candidate
I have installed php4 and it works fine, I also tried to manually modify the httpd.conf and php.ini files but the mysql function still don't work!!!!
I have downloaded the package but I can't seem to be able to install from the correct directory, how do I modifiy the sources.list file to read a specific directory rather than the CDROM. I'm I going in the right direction? Any help appreciated.
