Right. If whois doesn't return a result, traceroute (or its replacements, which I'm less familiar with) may be useful. It's a convetional address. Another good alternative is: <domain>@abuse.net e.g.: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The folks at abuse.net maintain active reporting lists of addresses for specific domains.
