if you have gnome installed you could use gnome_dialup. gnome_dialup-This GNOME applet is a graphical replacement of the pon/poff script. To use this program, you need to use pppconfig to configure the PPP connection first. Gnome dialup will automatically detect what account is available for connection at startup.
