Tatham's not only right, he's a really good writer.
Just to rub it in with soap & sandpaper, I add here that the Subject
line for bug reports (isn't that what they are?) to this list should
also be informative.
On seeing
Subject: Please help!!!
I jump to the next post, feeling sure that Please Help's text will
also be vague, incomplete, & undeserving. Likely I'm not alone in
that.
Actually most posts to this list do carry good Subject lines. But
most isn't all.
