if've got the problem with /dev/xconsole too, but i can't figure out what's goin' on cause in /etc/devfs/devices.d/devfsd there's an entry which should set up, the device node correctly and which did it, if an other file whit same permissions in that directory and the devfsd creates the files mentioned there, strange thing. thx 4 any advice, Daniel -- If you flaunt it, expect to have it trashed.
