Hi, I'm running Sid at home, previously X fonts were a normal size (at 100dpi) where a 10pt font was roughly the same size as a 10pixel font. This looks about right on my monitor. However, last night I upgraded to X4 4.10-4 and suddenly the fonts are huge! A 10pt font is about 20 pixels high! (still at 100dpi).
I can change the GTK+ font to half cure this problem, but at any time an application requests a specific font it looks terrible again. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for any help, Ross Burton
