To be clear: on Unix based systems you're not able to reproduce the full funktionality of an M$ Exchange/Outlook system at the moment. it's a question of $$$ vs. free software ;-) I would chose the free software but I'm not in a position to decide so everybody around me plays with Windos and the Outlook / Exchange duo.
