You didn't install via apt-get did you? I think you should remove the stuff you installed and use apt instead because it will handle dependencies for you. BTW, mozilla is basically the same thing as netscape, except it is free. I think this would tend to provide better library compatibility. In any case I think galeon has a much better GUI, and it uses the same rendering engine. All 3 browsers are apt-gettable. -D
